I am always on the lookout for great discount sites. Especially when they involve luxury items! Shop Hers is one of the better shopping sites that I have found in quite a long time so I figured I would share the wealth (pun intended).
Shop Hers is basically a luxury item resale boutique. The authenticity is guaranteed and you can buy and sell items. They have an amazing selection and searching through items is very easy. You can even go through a small questionnaire to find your “Style Soulmate.” In other words, someone who is your size and has similar taste. And did I mention that sometimes they even have sales and discount codes?

After a beautiful weekend of warmer weather and sunshine in NYC, it looks as though we are bracing for yet another snowstorm in the Big Apple. Walking around this weekend and seeing everyone so desperate for spring has really gotten me dreaming of a new season and wishing the current season would pack it’s bags! Here is a little inspiration to get your week going!
Anyone who knows me is aware of my mild obsession with Olivia Palermo’s style. She always looks so effortlessly stylish and classy. I envy her ability to make a ripped pair of jeans and flats look like a million bucks! As a new season approaches (even though we are still digging out from 6 inches of snow yesterday!), I have begun to think about ensembles for spring. Going through old posts and pin-boards, here are some of my favorite Olivia looks that really spotlight her trend setting street style.
Happy Friday! I hope you have a happy, safe and warm weekend!
From office parties to friend get-togethers, the holiday season is always super busy. I like to have a few outfit sets ready so I don’t have to stress the day of the event. Polyvore is one of my favorite sites to find ensembles and links to where you can purchase the items. Here are a few boards I have been lusting over for holiday outfits. As you can see, gold is my color of the season!
Winter may be approaching, but springy hues will rule next year according to color authority Pantone. According to Pantone’s website, “Radiant Orchid blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination. It is an expressive, creative and embracing purple—one that draws you in with its beguiling charm. A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health.”
Pantone has a profound effect on trends in both fashion and home design. Here are a few ways you may see Radiant Orchid pop up over the next year.
What are your thoughts on the Color of the Year?
It used to be an old fashion rule to never wear white after Labor Day. The beautiful neutral color of winter white has changed that mantra. White is used year round in many striking ways. An all white design (be it a fashion design or a room design) is beautiful and soft, but can be hard to pull off correctly. The key is to look tailored and sophisticated and not stark and cold. In interior design, my opinion is that kitchens and baths look best with all white as other rooms require some type of accent in order to soften to design. In fashion, all white goes! Here are some of my winter white inspirations that have completely nailed this trend and successfully convey a sophisticated and soft appearance.
